It is believed that he lives somewhere in the Southwestern United States and commutes to banks in the Pacific Northwest. However, he remains unidentified and at large.Īt the time, he appeared to be between thirty-five and forty-five years of age, was between 6'0" and 6'2" in height, weighing between 200 and 220 pounds, and was tan. With the help of the surveillance photographs, investigators were able to link the robber to at least three bank robberies in Tucson, Arizona. For the first time, the robber was captured on film. This trap also activated the bank's surveillance camera. One of the tellers pulled money from a bill trap, which activated the silent alarm. After taking money from the vault, the robber had the tellers empty their drawers. On June 6, 1989, he attempted to rob Spokane's Horizon Federal Credit Union however, the bank tellers stood up to him and his threats. However, authorities still hoped to get a photograph of the robber.

After another robbery in November 1988, bank employees were able to help make composites of the robber. A witness observed him enter a vehicle and escape. However, a dye-pack had been placed in the bag, which went off shortly after he left. On August 30, 1988, the robber stole $14,000 from another Spokane bank. He did not leave behind any fingerprints and avoided being caught on camera. The robbery lasted less than five minutes. He ordered everyone into the vault and stole more than $100,000 from there. He showed them that he had a police scanner which would let him know if one of the tellers alerted the police. He demanded money from the tellers, and appeared calm and well-prepared. On September 19, 1987, the robber entered a bank in Spokane, Washington, and immediately pulled out a gun. Six of the robberies have taken place in the Pacific Northwest, while at least three have taken place in the Southwest. Even with that little quirk, it’s still one of the better wild west games out there.Surveillance Footage of the Cowboy Banditĭetails: Since 1987, a mustached figure in cowboy boots has robbed over nine banks, getting away with more than $400,000. As long as you don’t mind some braindead mining, that’s anything but “Hard”. Hard West isn’t perfect, and it can feel a bit janky at times, but it’s a damn good game for the price. It makes the fights feel a lot more varied and interesting, even though there’s usually nothing better than just capping a guy in his already toothless mouth. I’m personally a big fan of all the different character abilities you can unlock.
COWBOY GUN BANDIT GAMES MOVIE
It might be an identity that it borrowed from every gritty Western movie ever, but it’s an identity nonetheless. It’s got the same mix of character management and game-altering choices, combined with the turn-based gunfights that make you feel like a genius for outsmarting a bunch of 1’s and 0’s.īut Hard West has more than enough style and personality to give it its own identity.

Now, the quickest way to describe Hard West would be to call it “Xcom with cowboys”. Hard West, Image Source: Creative Forge Games That’s a little dance I like to call, “The Shovel Knight Shuffle”. These games are both masters of recapturing the NES platforming magic we all love so much, whilst injecting enough new ideas to make it feel like a modern game. I found the boss fights to be especially impressive, and… well, to be frank, if a cowboy riding a dinosaur doesn’t put a smile on your face, then you and I simply have nothing in common. Plus, they really stepped things up in the second one.

COWBOY GUN BANDIT GAMES FULL
They’re both full of interesting boss fights, stimulating platforming challenges, and the second one even has MORE colors that beige and light blue! They’re two pretty short and simple games, but considering their indie nature, and the fact that you can get both of them for the price of a pencil sharpener, I think they’re really impressive. Not that that’s a bad thing! Despite their simple look and feel the Gunman Clive games are old-school platforming perfection. Oh, well that’s a shame, because that’s basically what Gunman Clive is.
